Polygenomic search for associations between the phenotype and the durum genotype

GWAS analysis (studies of genome wide association) can now be used on durum thanks to developed SNP markers. The identifications on SNPs is associated with commercially valuable traits and their transformations into markers convenient for screening breeding material. That will significantly expand the possibilities of marker-oriented breeding of durum to breed varieties with desired properties.
